Elkhorn Valley put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the West Holt Huskies with points to spare, taking the game 37-22. The 37-point effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Elkhorn Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Karlee Broberg, who posted 14 points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds Broberg has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jj Black, who scored four points in addition to eight boards and seven blocks.

Elkhorn Valley's win bumped their record up to 20-0. As for West Holt, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, Elkhorn Valley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cedar Catholic at 6:00 p.m. Elkhorn Valley's defense has only allowed 27.3 points per game this season, so Cedar Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for West Holt, they will square off against Niobrara/Verdigre at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
