Soccer Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

The matchup between St. Anne-Pacelli and Calvary Christian on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings never let the Calvary Christian Knights get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Knights are ranked 183rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Anne-Pacelli's offense was hitting Calvary Christian from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Addison Burnett led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight matches. As for Calvary Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4-1.
