Baseball Recap: Palmetto Takes a Loss

Palmetto fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Walhalla on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Razorbacks by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since March 6th.

Palmetto dropped their record down to 4-16 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Walhalla, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-10.

Coming up, Palmetto will be playing at home against Carolina Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Walhalla does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
