Football Recap: Waltham Comes Up Short

Waltham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Concord-Carlisle Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 31-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Waltham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Concord-Carlisle, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waltham will host Westford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Concord-Carlisle, they will take on Wayland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
