 Wrightstown won the last time they faced Northland Pines, and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Wrightstown Tigers walked away with  an   8-4  victory over the Northland Pines Eagles. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Wrightstown.
 Wrightstown got a great performance from  Caleb Podgorski as he  struck out eight batters over  6.1 innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits.
 At the plate, Wrightstown let  Aiden Humphreys and  Trevor Vande Hey loose on the outfield. Humphreys  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4, while  Vande Hey  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jack Severson, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Wrightstown pushed their record up to 13-6 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Northland Pines, they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-12.
 Wrightstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northland Pines, they will be playing at home against Wright at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The last three games Wright has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
