Volleyball Recap: Dalton Beats Green for Their Eighth Straight Win

Dalton entered their tilt with Green on Saturday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against Green by a score of 2-0. Dalton has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Green, too.

Sara Geibel paced Dalton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Geibel got some help from Mya Geiser and her 31 assists. Hannah Wenger controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Green lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Libby Hubert, who had 17 digs and one assist. Hubert is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Dalton's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Green, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Dalton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Orrville on the 13th. As for Green, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against GlenOak on the 16th.
