The Bladensburg Mustangs will head out to take on the DuVal Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. DuVal took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bladensburg, who comes in off a win.

Bladensburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Wise 4-0. The result was nothing new for Bladensburg, who have now won five contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, DuVal fell victim to Bowie and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, DuVal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Bowie are ranked fifth).

Bladensburg's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for DuVal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
