Volleyball Recap: Medford Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lynn English last Wednesday, Medford came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Lexington Minutemen on Friday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-16.

Jake Siegel was the offensive standout of the match as he had 20 assists. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lexington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-2.

Medford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lexington, they will challenge Weymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Minutemen surely won't give up without a fight.
