Softball Recap: Spanish River's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Spanish River can now relate to. They fell just short of the West Broward Bobcats by a score of 10-9 on Thursday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Sharks, who until this match were averaging 3.38 runs allowed.

Alaina George was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Riley Ready was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
