Softball Recap: Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Takes a Loss

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown lost against Hayfield two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buccaneers took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's record now sits at 2-4. As for Hayfield, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Coming up, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown will challenge Triton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Buccaneers are facing the Cobras at the right time seeing as the Cobras are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hayfield, they will square off against Southland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
