South Fremont has gone 8-2 against Marsh Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when South Fremont challenged Snake River on Wednesday. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

South Fremont started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-16.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Marsh Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past Preston 3-0 on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-20.

Marsh Valley's win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for South Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Everything went South Fremont's way against Marsh Valley when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as South Fremont made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
