There's no place like home for North Miami, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Whitko Wildcats by a score of 56-49 on Thursday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 67-37 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Easton Grable, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 17 points. Grable continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Chandler Cox was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

North Miami's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Whitko, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

North Miami didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-63 loss against Southwood on the 8th. As for Whitko, they have also already played their next contest, a 56-44 defeat against Northwestern on the 14th.
