Lake Brantley entered their tilt with Seminole on Tuesday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Seminole Seminoles. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Seminoles, too.

Elijah Guzman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in February.

At the plate, Cameron Penney was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Bryce Mauger was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Penney wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Lake Brantley lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Lake Brantley pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Seminole, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, Lake Brantley will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Dr. Phillips at 6:00 p.m. Lake Brantley's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Dr. Phillips' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Seminole, they are taking a road trip to take on West Orange at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games West Orange has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
