Volleyball Recap: Howland Tigers vs. Louisville Leopards
Howland can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Louisville Leopards. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Leopards walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
Howland took Louisville into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-23, 25-18, 16-25, 15-6.
Wesley Fee paced Howland's offense, picking up 12 kills. Fee got some help from Alex Slater and his 22 assists. Nicholas Caesar controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
