Basketball Game Preview: Indian River Braves vs. Grassfield Grizzlies

Indian River is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Grassfield is on a eight-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Indian River Braves will host the Grassfield Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Indian River saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Granby.

Meanwhile, Grassfield blew past Churchland, posting a 59-4 victory. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Indian River's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Grassfield, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Indian River came up short against Grassfield when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 51-47. Can Indian River avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
