Baseball Recap: Horatio Comes Up Short

Horatio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dierks Outlaws. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Outlaws apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Horatio's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Dierks, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-7.

Horatio has already played their next match (against Cutter-Morning Star), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dierks, they are taking a road trip to face off against Nevada at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
