Softball Game Preview: Kane Wolves vs. DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals

Kane hasn't had much luck against DuBois Central Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Wolves will head out to face off against the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Kane is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 16-1 to Brockway.

Meanwhile, DuBois Central Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat Redbank Valley on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

DuBois Central Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Sachs, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base marked the first that Sachs snagged this season.

DuBois Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Kane, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Kane might still be hurting after the 13-0 loss they got from DuBois Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
