Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hancock). They blew past the Little Village Phoenix 4-1 on Monday. Hancock haven't had any issues with Little Village recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Desirey Fierro and Brittany Soto scored all four of Hancock's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Hancock's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Little Village, they now have a losing record of 6-7-4.

Looking ahead, Hancock will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Back of the Yards College Prep at 5:00 p.m. Hancock will be up against Back of the Yards College Prep's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.62 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Little Village, they will take on Chicago Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
