Soccer Game Preview: Cornerstone Christian vs. Chippewa

The Cornerstone Christian Patriots are taking a road trip to take on the Chippewa Chipps at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Cornerstone Christian sitting on three straight wins and Chippewa on 17.

Cornerstone Christian proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by five) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand United a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Chippewa made easy work of Triway on Wednesday and carried off a 6-1 victory. Considering Chippewa have won 15 matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cornerstone Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-3-3. As for Chippewa, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1.
