Basketball Recap: Ridgeland Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Ridgeland had won two straight home games and Phil Nelson did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Ridgeland Titans took their match with ease, bagging a 79-46 win over the Neshoba Central Rockets thanks in part to Nelson, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 23 points and five steals. His evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Josiah Davidson was another key player, going 6 of 7 en route to 16 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Ridgeland's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Neshoba Central, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
