Liberty posted their closest win since April 30, 2024 on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cabool Bulldogs 7-6. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-5 victory back in March.

Kameryn Wood was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlynn Henry, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Cabool, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Liberty will face off against Ellington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cabool, they will take on Mountain Grove at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
