Basketball Recap: Crestview Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

Crestview won the last time they faced Pace and things went their way on Thursday too. The Crestview Bulldogs walked away with a 48-36 win over the Pace Patriots. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Patriots are ranked 585th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crestview pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Pace, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Crestview won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Navarre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Crestview is facing Navarre at the right time seeing as Navarre is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pace, they and Gulf Breeze will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
