Baseball Recap: Marion Has No Trouble Against Canton-Galva

Marion got themselves on the board against Canton-Galva on Thursday, but Canton-Galva never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 15-0. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Jameson Looper, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has become a key player for Marion: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise. Luke Watkins was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.
