Volleyball Recap: Lafayette County Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lafayette County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Knob Noster Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-5.

Sophie Frank paced Lafayette County's offense, picking up ten kills. Frank got some help from Katie Draisey and her 23 assists. Draisey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Lafayette County's victory bumped their record up to 18-1-2. As for Knob Noster, they moved to 8-11-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Lafayette County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lexington on the 7th. As for Knob Noster, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Richmond on the 7th.
