After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Serra Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Brentwood Spartans. This was a revenge game for Serra Catholic: when they faced off against Brentwood back in September, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Nate Petty and Tyler Graham scored both of Serra Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Serra Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Brentwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Serra Catholic will take on rival Carlynton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brentwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop Canevin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
