Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 68-56 to the Woodward Academy Knights. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Despite the loss, Perry still got an impressive performance from Gustavo Drahos, who posted 17 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Luke Adair was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Woodward Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Perry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-57 victory against West Marshall on the 16th. Woodward Academy has also already played their next game (against Ogden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
