Volleyball Recap: Livermore Find Success

Livermore posted their closest victory since April 13, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Sunnyside Wildcats 2-1.

Jacob Smithson paced Livermore's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smithson got some help from Carter Macintosh and his 16 assists. Finally, Anthony Edwards kept Livermore's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

The win got Livermore back to even at 2-2. As for Sunnyside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Livermore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Torres on the 1st. As for Sunnyside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Golden Valley on the 1st.
