            Softball Recap: Timberline Wolves vs. Boise Brave        
        
		
        
        
            While Timberline's  win against Boise wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves had just enough and edged out the Brave  1-0. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Wolves have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
The result came thanks to  Delaney Wright's shutout, as she gave up just a  hit and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent  for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Timberline's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Ivy Norskog, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.

The  win was  the sixth in a row for Timberline, bringing their record up to 11-1. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Boise, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Timberline will  take on  rival Owyhee  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Wolves 3.7, the Storm 1.9) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Boise is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Eagle  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
