Basketball Recap: Providence Hall Patriots vs. Summit Academy Bears
Providence Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Summit Academy Bears, falling 72-51. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.
Providence Hall lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dallas Loutensock, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Garrett, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.
Providence Hall's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Summit Academy, with the win, they broke their 14-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-18.
Providence Hall will welcome American Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
