Basketball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View was the 52-47 winner over Marion when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Valley View Blazers took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marion Patriots on Tuesday. The contest marked the Blazers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Valley View fell to 4-1. As for Marion, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marion, they will take on Greene County Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
