Flag Football Recap: Memorial Day Comes Up Short

Memorial Day played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots and fell 39-6. The Matadors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-0.

Memorial Day's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Memorial Day and Citizens Christian Academy will both be playing First Preparatory Christian Academy the next time they take the field. The Patriots will head out to face the Highlanders at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Matadors will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
