Volleyball Recap: Drew Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Drew can now relate to. They came up short against the Cartersville Hurricanes on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Drew has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-4, 25-14.

Cartersville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Wall led the charge by getting 14 assists and four aces. Wall is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sydney Seigler, who had five aces and three digs.

Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Cartersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 25 of their last 26 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 42-6 record this season.

Drew does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cartersville, they will square off against Wayne County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
