The Riverdale Ridge Ravens will take on the Penn-Trafford Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Riverdale Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Riverdale Ridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Shady Side Academy, taking the game 9-5.

Tyler Swan and Jayce Sanchez did most of the damage at the plate: Swan scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances, while Sanchez scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Sanchez also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Landon Brophy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Penn-Trafford came up short against Brighton on Tuesday and fell 13-8.

Logan Matrisch was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Ethan Septak was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Penn-Trafford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Riverdale Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
