The Red Cloud Warriors entered their tilt with the Sandy Creek Cougars with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went Red Cloud's way against Sandy Creek on Tuesday as Red Cloud made off with a 48-27 win. Red Cloud has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Adelynn Minnick, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Kari Kucera was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Despite the loss, Sandy Creek saw an underclassman step up: Emma Fisher dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Red Cloud's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. As for Sandy Creek, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Red Cloud will head out on the road to challenge Superior at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sandy Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Blue Hill at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Blue Hill is ranked 202nd, while Sandy Creek is ranked 224th).
