Basketball Recap: Philomath Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Amity

On Wednesday, Philomath faced Amity in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Philomath Warriors came up short against the Amity Warriors, falling 59-37. Philomath was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Amity apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Philomath's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Amity, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.

Coming up, Philomath will square off against North Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Amity, they will be playing at home against Dayton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
