Baseball Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Falls Short of Carrollton in the Playoffs

Metro-East Lutheran and Carrollton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Metro-East Lutheran had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Metro-East Lutheran has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for Carrollton, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-16.

As of now, neither Metro-East Lutheran nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
