Basketball Recap: Raleigh Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Raleigh Christian Academy can now relate to. They took a blow against the New Manna Christian Wind on Thursday, falling 58-22. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 586th in North Carolina, while the Wind are ranked 192nd in North Carolina).

Raleigh Christian Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. New Manna Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Raleigh Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Manna Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Woodland Baptist Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
