Imlay City is 8-2 against Almont since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Imlay City Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Almont Raiders at 7:30 p.m.

Last Monday, Imlay City had to suffer through a 55-28 loss at the hands of Lake Orion. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Almont came into Monday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 40-29 victory over Parkway Christian on Monday.

Imlay City now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Almont, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Imlay City was able to grind out a solid victory over Almont in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 57-45. Will Imlay City repeat their success, or does Almont have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
