Softball Recap: Maritime Academy Charter Victorious

Maritime Academy Charter won the last time they faced Thomas A. Edison and things went their way on Tuesday too. Maritime Academy Charter walked away with a 14-10 victory over Thomas A. Edison. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Seadogs.

The team relied heavily on Jordyn Kile, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 4-for-4. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.4 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycie Clark, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Maritime Academy Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Maritime Academy Charter's record is now 2-3. As for Thomas A. Edison, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
