Softball Recap: Bandon/Pacific's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Bandon/Pacific dropped their record down to 5-3 on Friday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They lost 31-13 to the Toledo Boomers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 18-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

As for Toledo, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.1 runs over those games.

For Toledo's part, Lindsey Otis was incredible, going 5-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. The dominant performance also gave Otis a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Avery Fourier, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.

Bandon/Pacific has already played their next match (against Reedsport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Toledo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-13 victory against Bandon on the 18th.
