Softball Recap: PACT Charter Wins Going Away Against New Life Academy

PACT Charter won the last time they faced New Life Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers blew past the Eagles 20-3. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Mia Sparre made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Sparre was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, June Tessum was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Megan Henry also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

The win made it two in a row for PACT Charter and bumps their season record up to 9-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for New Life Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

PACT Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Life Academy, they will host Heritage Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
