Basketball Recap: Friendship Christian Comes Up Short

Friendship Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. The match between them and the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats didn't end well, with the Friendship Christian Commanders falling 43-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Commanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-29 back in January.

Friendship Christian's record is now 3-16. As for Donelson Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Friendship Christian and Donelson Christian Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Friendship Christian will square off against Ezell-Harding Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 246 places (283 vs. 37). Meanwhile, Donelson Christian Academy (ranked 128th) will meet Goodpasture Christian (ranked 49th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
