Basketball Recap: Bishop Loughlin Comes Up Short

Bishop Loughlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 77-52 to the St. Elizabeth Vikings.

Bishop Loughlin's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for St. Elizabeth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Bishop Loughlin will be taking part in a tournament against Sandy Spring Friends at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Elizabeth, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against First State Military Academy at 7:15 p.m. St. Elizabeth knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully First State Military Academy likes a good challenge.
