Basketball Game Preview: Sandpoint Bulldogs vs. Lewiston Bengals

Sandpoint has gone 8-2 against Lewiston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Sandpoint Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lewiston Bengals at 5:30 p.m. Sandpoint will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Sandpoint will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Lake City, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Sandpoint enjoyed a cozy 54-37 victory over Lake City on Tuesday.

Sandpoint got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Demi Driggs out in front who went 8 of 12 on her way to 20 points and six boards. Those 20 points gave Driggs a new career-high. Jordyn Tomco was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Meanwhile, Lewiston came up short against Lakeland on Friday, falling 65-44. The loss continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Lewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Sandpoint, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
