Volleyball Recap: Cuthbertson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cuthbertson can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Southwest Guilford Cowboys on Tuesday. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 25-14.

Jaylynn Carter paced Cuthbertson's offense, picking up 16 kills. Carter got some help from Gigi Casseus and her 11 assists. Casseus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cuthbertson's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Southwest Guilford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Cuthbertson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest Guilford, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Cox Mill on the 23rd.
