Eastern has gone 8-2 against Clinton Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eastern Comets are taking a road trip to square off against the Clinton Central Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Eastern came up short against Northfield and fell 41-34. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Clinton Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Western Boone.

Clinton Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Eastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Everything came up roses for Eastern against Clinton Central in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 74-45 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastern since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
