Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Commanders vs. Manual Thunderbolts

The Kennedy Commanders will venture away from home to take on the Manual Thunderbolts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kennedy has three straight victories, Manual has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Kennedy not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4, 2024. Everything went their way against DSST: Conservatory Green as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Manual came up short against Gateway on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

Kennedy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Kennedy came out on top in a nail-biter against Manual in their previous matchup on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Thunderbolts' Danny Flores, who had 22 digs.
