Soccer Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Legacy Christian Academy's Winning Streak

After soaring to five goals the game before, Legacy Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of the Botkins Trojans by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Legacy Christian Academy of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Micah Patton, who's now up to 17 this season.

Legacy Christian Academy moved to 10-4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak. As for Botkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-1-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will welcome Miami Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Botkins, they will host Shawnee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
