Basketball Game Preview: Omaha Central Eagles vs. Lincoln Lynx

Omaha Central will head into Friday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Millard North an easy 71-50 win.

Omaha Central's defeat came about despite a quality game from Lenox Haynes, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 21 points. Amir Wise was another key player, putting up six points.

Meanwhile, Lincoln put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Jefferson 79-35. That looming 79-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lynx yet this season.

Omaha Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Omaha Central was able to grind out a solid win over Lincoln when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 74-65. Will Omaha Central repeat their success, or does Lincoln have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
