Soccer Recap: Frostproof Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Frostproof was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lake Gibson Braves, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 2-0 to them when the teams met back in December of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Frostproof's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Lake Gibson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7-2.

Frostproof will challenge Santa Fe Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Santa Fe Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Lake Gibson, they will face off against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgeview Global Studies Academy also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 4.5 goals per game.
